How Houston Epoxy Flooring Pros Works
Resin coatings over concrete are all Houston Epoxy Flooring Pros does: think garage floors, flake and polyaspartic systems, metallic epoxy for indoor rooms, warehouse and plant floors, patios and pool decks across Houston and the suburbs around it. The name describes the work we do. It is not a claim about rank or credentials.
We built our process around the conditions that wreck coatings in this part of Texas: hot slabs that shorten working time, damp air that can leave moisture on a cool surface, clay ground that cracks concrete, and storms that put water in garages. A floor that skips those details may look fine on day one and start lifting by the second summer. So we slow down at the start, where most failures begin.
What a job looks like
- The visit. Our first stop is your floor itself, where we take measurements and ask what it is used for: parking, a workshop, a boat, a gym, forklifts or foot traffic.
- The tests. We check the slab for moisture and note old paint, sealers, oil, cracks, low spots and any hint that water has gotten in at some point.
- The quote. Your written quote spells out the proposed system, every coat in it, the prep work and the total. That written number is the price.
- The prep. We diamond grind the slab down to clean, open concrete the resin can grip. Cracks, spalls and damaged joints are filled first.
- The install. Slab temperature, air temperature and humidity get logged that morning, and each coat is timed to those readings.
- The handoff. Before leaving, we explain the wait before walking on it, the wait before parking, and how to clean it.
What we will tell you plainly
Some slabs should not be coated yet. A garage that flooded recently, or a slab reading high for moisture, may need time to dry or a moisture-mitigating primer, and you will hear that from us up front, while your money is still in your pocket. A crack that is still moving will keep moving under any coating, and we put that in writing. If a cheaper system fits your floor and the way you use it, we will recommend it.
Where we work
We work across Houston and Greater Houston: the northern suburbs such as The Woodlands, Spring, Kingwood, Cypress and Conroe, the Ship Channel cities such as Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte and Baytown, and the bay communities around Clear Lake, Webster, Seabrook and League City.
